#17 My avatar can beat up your avatar
So we can create on-line avatar's or our virtual self? so is that like saying if i don't like my first life i can go create a second? I have known a couple people to immerse themselves into second lives. I kinda fell into the same thing but mine was more in an on-line game. Take for instance everquest or WoW. You create a character to represent yourself in this on-line world and you go about making it your life. Pretty soon i was wondering if i could really live off of summoned bread and water and maybe if i was lucky a goblin wouldn't attack me in my sleep. I was a resident of a guild that thought it was more important to kill on-line monsters than go to work or school. Some of them lucky enouph to be retired or still living at home had the ability to play all day and expected the same from everyone else. Those "hard core" people i doubt ever saw the sky or thought day time only existed if you clapped your hands twice. I don't know if i would ever try anything "second life-ish" again. But who knows the on-line life is much more enjoyable and i can look like a cool gnome to boot.
